Cove light is the best light

Sunrise Beach doesn’t announce itself the way the east side does. Out here along the west shore, the lake folds into coves, the water calms early in the evening, and a single well-lit home can hold an entire shoreline. That stillness is a gift for lighting design: on protected water, a warm-white roofline and a traced dock reflect almost perfectly, and the whole cove picks up the glow.

We design for that. On a Sunrise Beach install we think about what the house looks like from your neighbor’s dock, from the channel entrance, and from your own kitchen window at six in the evening in December — not just from the driveway. Cabin or showpiece, the goal is the same: light that looks like it belongs on the water it sits above.

Straight answers for the west shore

You’re based across the lake. Do you actually come out here?

Yes — routinely. Sunrise Beach, Laurie, and the roads off Highway 5 are a standard part of our install routes, quoted with the same one-number pricing as everywhere else on the lake. Being on the west shore never makes you a special case.

Our place is a weekend house. How does that work?

Perfectly, and it’s most of what we do out here. Photos and an address get you a quote; we install midweek, test everything, and send you a picture of the house lit. It’s glowing when you come over the hill on Friday night.

We’re deep in a cove. Is dock lighting still worth it?

More than anywhere. Sheltered coves have the stillest water on the lake, which means the cleanest reflections. A modest dock package in a quiet cove often outshines a big install on busy water.

When does the schedule fill for the west shore?

We route west-shore installs in blocks so crews spend whole days on your side of the lake. Those blocks are set by early fall — a summer call gets you into the one you want.

Every Sunrise Beach quote covers the full season: the design, commercial-grade lights cut to your home, installation, mid-season care if weather knocks something loose, then takedown and labeled storage in January. One number, one call, and the cove does the rest.
