Christmas Light Installation in Cole Camp

A German-settled Benton County town north of the lake, with a Main Street worth lighting properly.

A town that keeps its own character

Cole Camp was settled by German immigrants and has never entirely let go of it. The heritage is still visible in the town, the Main Street buildings are old and well kept, and there is more civic pride per block here than in a good many places ten times the size. That matters in December, because a town like this notices what a display looks like — and notices when one has been thrown up in an afternoon.

Most of the work here is straightforward and rather satisfying. Two-story farmhouses and square-built town homes with honest, symmetrical rooflines. Porches that want one clean run along the fascia rather than three competing ideas. A maple or a spruce in the front yard that has stood there sixty years and deserves to be wrapped properly instead of draped.

Homes and Main Street

Houses

Eaves, porch lines, gable peaks, and the entry, all in one warm white. On a symmetrical house the whole job is getting the lines straight and the corners tight — there is nowhere for a sagging run to hide.

Storefronts

Window frames, cornices, and awnings on the old brick fronts, plus wreaths and wrapped trees where the sidewalk allows. Quoted the same way a house is, and installed outside your trading hours.

The drive out is ours, not yours

Cole Camp is north of the lake proper, out on the Benton County roads between Warsaw and the Versailles side. We route it with the rest of our north-county work so a crew is here for the day rather than for an hour. That keeps the price the same as it would be on the water, and it means we can come back through if December weather takes a section down.

Through January, then gone

Design, commercial-grade lights cut to the building, installation, mid-season care, takedown, and labeled storage. One number, one call, and nothing left stacked in your garage in February.
